This Policy explains how Acklix (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Acklix, APIs, and related interfaces (the “Service”), visit our sites, or contact us.

2. Responsibility

We decide how account, billing, support, and website data are used as described here. For anything you add or connect in your workspace (content, files, context, connections, outputs), you control what is added and who can access it. We process that data only as needed to provide features you choose, keep the Service secure, and meet legal obligations. You can disconnect integrations and delete data using in-product controls.

• Protect security, prevent abuse, and investigate issues.
• Maintain and improve product functionality and reliability.
• Provide support and send required service or policy notices.

5. AI Models & Data Handling

To generate outputs you request, the Service may send prompts and relevant context to model providers. We limit what is sent to what’s needed for the operation. We do not use your workspace content to train models unless you explicitly opt in within the product or agree to it in writing.

6. How We Share Information

• Service providers: hosting, storage, security, model providers, analytics, email, support acting on our instructions.
• Payments: processed by a payment provider; we do not keep full card data.
• Connected services: shared only as needed for integrations you enable.
• Legal & safety: when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
• Business changes: merger, acquisition, or asset transfer under confidentiality.

We do not sell personal data.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

• Context/Knowledge deletion: immediate.
• Conversation deletion: retained up to 60 days, then deleted.
• Logs & telemetry: retained up to 3 months, then deleted.
• All other user-initiated deletions: immediate.

In limited cases we may retain specific data to meet legal requirements or resolve disputes.

8. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, isolation, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to detect and mitigate threats and will notify you of certain incidents when required by law.

9. International Transfers

We may process data in other countries. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards and recognized transfer mechanisms.

10. Your Choices & Rights

• Use in-product controls to access, correct, export, or delete your data, or contact us.
• Unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails using the link in those emails.
• Where local law grants additional rights, you can exercise them and we’ll respond as required.

11. Children

The Service isn’t for children below the age where parental consent is required in your region. Don’t use it if you’re under that age.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy. We’ll post the new date and, for material changes, provide additional notice when appropriate.
