Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 2025

1. Introduction & Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets the rules for using the Acklix AI platform, APIs, and related interfaces (the “Service”). It applies to your account, your workspace, and anyone you allow to use your Interfaces or Outputs through the Service.

2. Core Requirements

  • Follow the law and the Terms of Service.
  • Only upload or connect data you have the right to use, and respect others’ rights.
  • Use in-product controls to manage who can access your workspace and data.

3. Prohibited Content & Behavior

Do not use the Service for any of the following:

  • Illegal activity, including trafficking, exploitation, or evasion of law enforcement.
  • Violence or threats; promotion of terrorism or extremist acts.
  • Hate, harassment, or targeted abuse of individuals or groups.
  • Sexual content involving minors; sexual exploitation; non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • Fraud, deceptive practices, phishing, or social engineering.
  • Infringement of intellectual property or publicity rights; counterfeit or pirated materials.
  • Doxxing or unlawful surveillance; invasion of privacy.
  • Instructions to cause harm (for example, building explosives or bioweapons).
  • Self-harm encouragement or content that facilitates self-harm.
  • Spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or contact harvesting.

4. AI & Automation Misuse

  • Generating or operating bots to mislead users or manipulate platforms.
  • Undisclosed synthetic media or impersonation. If you publish AI-generated media of real people or brands, clearly disclose it.
  • Spammy automations (mass DMs, robocalls, or email blasts) using Actions or integrations.
  • Bypassing content safeguards, prompt-injecting to access data or capabilities you shouldn’t have.

5. Security, Integrity, & Abuse of Service

  • Interfering with metering, credits, rate limits, or billing.
  • Probing, scanning, or testing the Service or other users’ workspaces without written permission.
  • Introducing malware, ransomware, spyware, or attempting to create or distribute such code.
  • Exfiltrating API keys, tokens, or credentials; sharing your credentials outside your workspace roles.
  • Accessing, or attempting to access, data that isn’t yours.
  • Running crypto-mining or resource-exhaustion workloads.

6. Data Handling

  • Do not upload full payment card numbers, authentication secrets, or similar high-risk data into prompts or context.
  • Only process personal data where you have a lawful basis and necessary permissions.
  • Respect privacy choices and deletion requests as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. High-Risk Use

Don’t deploy the Service in life support, emergency services, or other safety-critical situations without a separate written agreement. Evaluate Outputs before use where accuracy matters.

8. Third-Party Services

If you connect third-party services, follow their terms as well. We may limit or disable integrations that create legal or security risk.

9. Enforcement

We may remove content, throttle features, block requests, suspend or terminate access, preserve data to comply with law, and notify affected parties when required. Repeated or severe violations can result in permanent loss of access.

10. Reporting Abuse

To report abuse or security issues, contact abuse@acklix.com or security@acklix.com. For general support, use support@acklix.com.

11. Changes

We may update this AUP. The revised date appears above. Material changes may be communicated in advance where practicable.
